Images missing on published articles.

Post by epfrd »

Hi Thorsten!

We recently upgraded from 3.0.x (CentOS 7) to 3.2.0 (Ubuntu 22.04) using MariaDB PHP 8.12 and Apache 2.4.52. Everything transferred and appears to be functioning except our ability to see images when viewing any published article. When creating and editing the article, you can see the images fine. After publishing, the image appears as a blank box, regardless of browser. I set 777 and root permissions to the faq folder recursively. I've attached some screenshots.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Thorsten,
I have just updated to 3.2.2 to fix the missing image issue. The released v3.2.2 shows all debug info. I changed line 34 to "const DEBUG = false" in src/Bootstrap.php to hide the debug info again. It seems that Bootstrap.php wasn't changed for the last four months according to the repo at github. So is there a different best practice to change the debug mode?

Thanks and best regards
Oskar

Hi,

thanks for the check, I'll re-release 3.2.2 with debug disabled.

It's enabled for the next release only.
