Hi Guys!
Just upgraded to version 2.8.2, everything seems to be working well however when users on Win XP / IE 8 goto the "Content" area of the administration side it is causing the browser to crash. Any idea where to look at fixing this issue ?
Thanks!

Hi,
can you reproduce this with other browsers on XP? I'll boot my XP VM soon to check it.
bye

Hello,
IE8 needs modernizr for HTML5-pages, sometimes results in a continuous loop, which then causes a crash when the memory overflows - first update modernizr.js von http://modernizr.com/download/ (if you need more /less features ).
Be sure to clear the cache (temporary internet files) before testing !
validate the html-code in the content (is xhtml or unclosed tags ?)
Disable all extensions (e.g. security search, fun products etc.) and plug-ins in IE8, activate step-by-step each extension and plug-in, the only way to find the error
Can not English very well
