Backup problem in 1/6/6 ==> 1.6.10 upgrade?

Post by pjpinella »

Hello.

I upgraded my FAQ last night to 1.6.10. Everything seemed to go well. However when I tried to create a SQL backup file and to save it to my local hard drive, as I normally do, the file turned out to be only 4K in size.

My FAQ is considerably larger than this. Backup worked previously just fine, as did restore. Could I have done something wrong?

Thank you,

Hi,

what's inside the backup file? Do you see any SQL queries?

I am having the same problem. If I open them with Altova, Notpad++, or Notepad the only thing there is a message. "The file attachment.php cannot be opened without proper authentification." This is for both data and logs. I went from 1.6.8 to 1.6.10 I have never had a problem in the past it was always good SQL.

The spelling error authentification was there I just did a cut and paste if that is helpful.

The sql filenames are phpmyfaq-data.2007-02-25.sql and phpmyfaq-logs.2007-02-25(2).sql

This is the first time I checked them since the update. Updated about 5 days ago.

Hi,

okay, I can confirm this bug, my security fix was too strong. :-(

We're working on a bugfix.

Hello Thorsten,

So which file(s) in my current 1.6.10 should be replaced with the CVS version in order to fix this?

When will 1.6.11 be available btw?

Many thanks for your help.

Hi,

you need to change the file admin/attachment.php.

1.6.11 is planned for the end of this month.
