Sorting the categories by "swapping" positions is a little confusing. Perhaps arrow icons that simply move a category name up or down the list? Or another field that would sort them by assigned numeric value; e.g, 100, 110, 120, etc. Or even an option to "display categories alphabetically" since that's probably what many people want.

Hi,
you can sort the categories as you wish. You can cut and paste them or swap two categories. What do you need more?

Moving Categories
Hi Thorsten!!
I have same issue as above. We can move Categories, but only in two ways: Cut/Paste, which automatically makes the category into a sub-category, and using the Arrows/Swap, which swaps the category with another.
What I want to know is how can I just move a category without swapping it with another, or creating a sub-category?
For instance:
CATEGORY 1
CATEGORY 2
CATEGORY 3
[new category 4] ooops, i want to move this...
CATEGORY 1
[new category 4]
CATEGORY 2
CATEGORY 3
Ahhh, that's better... I just wanted to move it under Category 1 without turning it into a sub-category, and without moving Category 1 to the bottom.
Can that be done?
OR can we add a new Main Category BETWEEN two existing Categories?
For instance:
CATEGORY 1
CATEGORY 2
CATEGORY 3
[oops, I forgot a Category]
CATEGORY 1
[new Category] ahhh, that's better!
CATEGORY 2
CATEGORY 3

Re: Improved Category Sort
Hi,
you can move categories multiple times... would be a drag'n'drop functionality better?

But then again, I'm not on the latest version so I don't know if it has already been implemented.
