Multisite idea

With some companies and people, they want to host various instances as such:

[host ip]/faq1
[host ip]/faq2
[host ip]/faq3

utilizing not DNS, but an IP instead.

Yes, I know it sounds cludgy, but this is what I am finding with some clients. They want to temporarily use IPs instead of DNS.

Multisites utilizes DNS entries and gets very confused with IP address/folder only.

Is there a way in a future version or is there a modification available now, to allow multiple sites by IP ?

no. Same IP just various folders.

that should work out of the box with our mulitisite feature.
