Postgres on Mac

Hi,
I'm trying to install phpmyfaq on Mac, all is fine till I reach the step setup page. On the database server drop down I only can see Mysql, Mysqllite and MariaDB but not postgres. I am wondering if anyone have quick answer on what I'm missing.

how did you install PostgreSQL on your Mac? How did you install PHP?

Just installed the app on Linux by unzipping the product. The dropdow on the setup page does not show Postgres as an option. There are other PHP apps using the Postgres be on the same server, so there should be no issue of access. For example, Webmin works on that server adn allows me to manage the Postgres db.
Your question about "How did you install..." - I can't say, because it was installed years ago by someone else.
Is there a specific module you look for, when building that dropdown? What can I do to make sure PhpMyFaq sees the Postgres installation?

did you enabled posgres or pdo_postgres? The latter one don't work.
