upgrade phpmyfaq from version 2.9.7 to 3.0.1

Hi All

I'm actually working with version 2.9.7 of phpmyfaq and the wampserver 3.0.6_x64
apache: 2.4.23 / PHP: 5.6.25 / mysql 5.7.14

I am trying to update from version 2.9.7 of phpmyfaq to version 3.0.1 and at the same time
upgrade my old version of wampserver to wampserver3.2.0_x64
apache: 2.4.41 / PHP: 7.3.12 / mysql 8.0.18

I installed these last 2 versions of phpmyfaq and wampserver on a computer and after a few adjustements, everything works perfectly. I can create articles, categories, to insert pictures, to adminstrate the site etc...

after that, I drop the database created and I did an import of a database backup of my previous version (the import works perfectly) but when I launch phpMyfaq 3.0.1, the page remains blank, not error, only white

I also tried to restore a database backup of version 2.9.7 by using phpmyfaq menu but I have an error message: "it does not seem to be a backup of phpMyFAQ. (Error not defined.)"

how can i do to import my old datas

Hi,

you cannot import an old v2.9 based backup into v3.0 as the database structures changed heavily.

Please run the update on the current 2.9 installation to 3.0.1
