my PMF has the same behaviour:

I Updated from 1.54 to 1.61 and now I can't edit old entries...

btw: is it possible to update the template-directory to obtain the new UI-features?

Hi Andreas.

My problem was simply caused because of .htaccess restriction on inc/ directory.

Hi Andreas,

you have to update your template/admin.css file and clear your cache. The old JavaScript is still in your cache...
