Some minor issues...

Post by Roy »

Hi Thorsten,

Here are some more issues I found:

1) The allCatArticles box appears only if the FAQ has tags attached to it and I believe this dependency should be eliminated as these are two different navigation methods.
2) The PDF feature has encoding problems.
3) In admin - edit FAQ - access control: it is always returning to the default of restricted access and if one does not give specific attention to it before saving then the article will never show up again and he will never know about it.
4) When adding a subcategory, the access control field is not shown and the default of restricted access is applied. I believe it should ether inherit the access permission from its parent or that this field should appear in the create subcategory form.

Thanks
Roy

Hi Roy,

that's correct because if we have no tags the Top 10 and the latest records were shown.
2) The PDF feature has encoding problems.
I know and that's the reason we're switching to another PDF base class in phpMyFAQ 2.1.
3) In admin - edit FAQ - access control: it is always returning to the default of restricted access and if one does not give specific attention to it before saving then the article will never show up again and he will never know about it.
I'll take a look.
4) When adding a subcategory, the access control field is not shown and the default of restricted access is applied. I believe it should ether inherit the access permission from its parent or that this field should appear in the create subcategory form.
This is fixed since yesterday evening. :-)

bye
