Pictures in News Items

Post by WayneW »

I know i asked if this was removed, and told it had been (for version 2.5) and would be available in the final release.. However i am quite anxious to get my FAQ up and available to the public.

Will that functionality be avail in an RC release, or will it only be restored in the final release?

By the way, i love this script, and the minimalistic content management features. I am currently using e107 as a CMS and linking my FAQ to it . While e107 is a great script also, it's too much for my needs. I believe with pics in news items, and some "more granular" permissioning, that phpMyFAQ would fill 100% of my needs. Thank You for this!!!!!!!

Then perhaps i have missed some conf options. The Add/Edit news item looks the same as it has since rc1. I have no wysiwyg editor avilable in the admin section.

I did an entire fresh install using the SVN............ Still no luck.

I deleted the database, and ALL files. Deleted the subdomain, and still the same trouble. ALL i have available to me for News is a plain txt editor.

And YES, enable WYSIWYG Editor IS checked in the Conf settings.

Please help!!!!

This feature is the single MOST important of all to me!!

Edit: In reading posts about images not showing up in PDF exports, i am wondering if my problem can be the fact that my FAQ is in a subdomain. TinyMCE won't work correctly?

If thats the case, can you please point me to what i would need to change to make this work for me?

Hi,

you don't see any WYSIWYG editor for the news? Could you please post the HTML code you get in the browser?
