Hi.
I've made a Single Sign On system on my server using Shibboleth. This system includes PMF.
Shibboleth, among the rest, is an apache module which controls access to specific locations of the web server are previously authenticated.
I configured SSO on several webapps so far, but PMF is giving me some issues: I modified index.php to accept Shib auth, but as soon as I configure apache PMF stops working, every link I visit it shows me the homepage.
The link is correct, and shows all the GET options, but the main content is totally empty.
But the options are not totally ignored, because i.e. if I click on a category, it's then showed in bold, so the parameters are taken in consideration!
What could lead to leave the main area empty?
thanks

Re: PMF under Shibboleth
Hi
Our FAQs webserver administration will be transferred to another department.
We are being asked if it is possible to use phpMyFAQ with Shibboleth authentication.
Have you found a solution?
Thank

sadly not.
So far if you want I can only share the patch to allow shib auth.
I will keep posted

Hi
Thanks for your quick reply.
The previous post was my yesterday's last task before shutting down the computer, so I’m answering just today.
I’m not an expert in this area, but my department’s - and other - colleagues may take a look at it.
If we find a solution, we’ll send it to you.
(see “phpMyFAQ devBlog” at http://devblog.phpmyfaq.de/ )
Once again, thanks for your offer

If you don’t mind, I (we) would appreciate your offer – the patch you’ve developed.maxxer wrote:So far if you want I can only share the patch to allow shib auth.

It seems that Thorsten is on holidays this month, otherwise he would already made a comment about your postmaxxer wrote:I will keep posted

Hi,
We are still available for testing -- if we receive the patch while we're administrating the FAQ's webserver. On Apr 12, 2011 we wrote:If you don’t mind, I (we) would appreciate your offer – the patch you’ve developed.maxxer wrote: So far if you want I can only share the patch to allow shib auth.

Hi
Unfortunately we didn't receive the patch from the original poster ("maxxer"), and we didn't found it on the forums either.jason102178 wrote:I just wanted to follow up so this issue wasn't ignored, i was wondering if a patch for Shibboleth had been submitted...

Re: PMF under Shibboleth
I beg you pardon, I didn't see the replies, sorry!
Well patches are now useless, since current git source has SSO support, and hopefully will be available in 2.7beta2.
The original problem I had, which was PMF ignoring the GET vars, seems solved in 2.7. Would be nice to understand why, anyway I'm moving to PMF 2.7 which works controlled by Shibboleth, and next week when beta2 is out I will upgrade and get SSO login.
