Left menu stretched when adding to index.php

Hi all,

I made a login script and try to add it to the index.php. It shows the menu on top. but the thing is that the menu with home, catagories etc has been stretched out to the bottom. How can i succesfully add my php in index.php without the menu beeing stretched?

which version do you use? What did you change exactly? Without any code I cannot help you...
