Dear Thorsten Rinne / Development Team
Before HTML5 there were three methods to include references to SVG graphics in (X)HTML code (depending on the browser and on other variables).
However, the resulting HTML code in the displayed page wasn't functional (or had rendering problems) – it was automatically embedded as “Flash instructions".
The use of phpMyFAQ for mathematical (chemistry, etc) expressions in dedicated (or not) sites would be relevant (in our opinion).
There are plug-ins for inserting/creating those kind of expressions (and graphics) directly in a browser [1] using SVG.
Are you planning to adopt full SVG support in phpMyFAQ?
Note: we are talking about mathematical (etc) expressions rendered in SVG – not by using the standard MathML [2]
