Getting IP address

Hi Thorsten,

Another question. How does the application get the IP address information?

We are running on a reverse proxy and looking at the tracking files, we are always getting the same ip address. From what I understand, this is the ip address of the reverse proxy site. Would you know of any way that we can track the real ip addresses of the visitors?

we fixed that with phpMyFAQ 2.8.0, you're on 2.7.9, right?
