"Open Questions"

Post by canuck »

Hi,

I don't think emailing open questions to the FAQ owner is the best policy, sometimes even because the user doesn't necessarily have an email account where the files are placed, for instance. I think the best thing to do would be put an Open Questions counter in the main admin page (The number of visits, the number of articles, the number of comments are there I don't know why the number of open questions aren't really), since they would immediately be seen and possibly answered by some admin that logs in :)

Hi,

phpMyFAQ 1.4.1 now supports both informations, the e-mail and the number of open questions in the admin section. :)

It would nice if when an administrator answers an open questions in the PHPMyFAQ administration interface if the person that asked the question could get an email with something like "Someone answered your question, you can find the answer here (insert link to article)"

I think that is a great suggestion. If say UserA submits a Question and UserB (or AdminC) answer it...does UserA receive an email currently? I think tihs is important, helps drive the user back to the site..and gets them their answer, otherwise they just have to check :)
