Port to postgresql?

Has anyone attempted to port phpMyFAQ to postgres? I'd like to use phpMyFAQ but have a reasonably firm requirement to use postgres. I'm thinking about porting it, but I'd like to know if someone has tried it and succeeded, or tried and failed miserably.

There was some talk about it on the German boards but I couldn't tell if they were successful. I think I read in the 1.3 release notes that the db layer had become more independent.

Hi,

someone from Australia told me he want to port phpMyFAQ to PostgreSQL. I've written a hack for the PostgreSQl database the last two days and I want to integrate the PostgreSQL support in phpMyFAQ 1.4.2. So please stay tuned.

How's postgreSQL in 1.4.2? I see in the TODO.txt file it's scheduled for 1.5.0, and done already, but I don't know if hat means it's in 1.4.2 like you had originally hoped.

Hi,

1.4 is only maintenance. PostgreSQL support is ready and will come with 1.5!
