how to roll back?

I tested 1.5 today, but the layout was completely fucked up. So I wanted to go back to 1.4.5 (last version on my pc at home).
Before I did the upgrade, I made a backup of the data (export in the admin section) and made a copy of the entire phpmyfaq dir.

So to go back, I replaced the phpmyfaq dir with the old one. And then did a restore of the data. No errors here, but no new records in the home page. Only the news was still there.

What have I done wrong?

Hi,

you have to do a fresh install with a clean database and then import your backup.

The new 1.5 layout is still in work.
