How to safely delete a comment?

Post by jazcyk »

I don't see any 'delete comment' functionality in the admin panel. I don't think it would be wise just to delete the database row ?

We have had a lot of trouble with people spamming our FAQ at www.webyog.com/faq . anything from childish nonsense to pornography! We have disabled the "Ask Question" for that reason. Bot one day the spammers probably will find out to use comments-functionality to spam with :-(

Hi,

you can delete the comments in the edit article section. An own frontend for all comments is planned for 1.6.

First this FAQ is great, thank you.

you can delete the comments in the edit article section
This works great for turning off the input however it leaves the following line.
"You cannot comment on this entry"

I have looked all over and have not been able to find where that line can be deleted. Can it be done easily?

Hi,

you can remove this line when you're editing the file template/artikel.tpl.

bye
