phpMyFAQ kann man nicht in ein Verzeichnis installieren, dass
für eine Subdomain steht; es muss immer in ein untergeordneter
Verzeichnis installiert werden!
Auf meinem Server steht ein "übergeordnetes" Verzeichnis für
die Subdomain. Ich hatte den FAQ-Ordner als quasi "Subdomain"
genommen. Der Name dieses Ordners entspricht der Subdomain
(http://faq.meine-domain.de). Von der Ordner-Hirarchie ist das
lediglich einen Ordner höher.
apache/bereich/meine-domain/subs/die-subdomain/ordner-den-man-sieht/
ergiebt im Web
http://die-subdomain.meine-domain.de/or ... man-sieht/
wäre schön, wenn man das installieren könnte !

warum sollte das nicht gehen??? Und es liegt sicher nicht an phpMyFAQ, dass du auf macrovision.com weitergeleitet wirst!

Das ist aber so. Ich habe es mit 1.5.3 und 1.5.4 versucht.
Der Installer verlinkt direkt zu macrovision.com und bricht
die Installation ab.

Ich schätze mal, dass da irgendein Teil wegen
installshield in der Software drinsteckt; und
installshield gehört heute zu macrovision.com
Auf der Seite gibt es keine Hinweise, was nun
los ist.

Erst der zweite misslungene Versuch mit 1.5.3
brachte mich auf die Idee, es "ganz normal"
zu versuchen und mit derselben Software 1.5.4
in ein untergeordnetes Verzeichnis die Installation
nochmal zu machen. Das lief perfekt!

Wenn es lediglich daran liegt, dass ein
Unterschied im Ablageort (Verzeichnis)
den Installer mal so und mal so arbeiten
läßt (unter gleichen Bedingungen) dann
kann es wohl nicht sein, dass es am dummen
User vor dem Bildschirm liegt, dass es nicht
klappt! Was sollte ich vom macrovision.com?
Hast du dich gefragt was macrovision.com hier
zu suchen hat?

Wenn ich es richtig verstanden habe, hat installshield
irgend etwas mit "Installation" zu tun. Aha. Ein
Installations-Skript steuert eine kommerzielle Seite
eines Anbieters von Installations-Software an.
Nachtigall ick hör dir trappsen.

Hi,

das Installationsskript ist ein PHP-Skript, Installshield ist immer eine .exe auf Windows. Poste doch einfach den HTML-Quelltext deiner installer.php Datei hier. phpMyFAQ ist Open Source und somit ist jede Zeile frei einsehbar.

Deine Anschuldigung ist hier vollkommen unangebracht.
