upgrading from 1.6.x to 2.x ?

Hi,
sure! It's one among the big works we've done in PMF 2.0.0 . Besides, the update stage is working from PMF 1.4.x to 2.0.0 .
Currently the update stage is supposed to work only with MySQL: we're debugging the other supported DB.
Just a strong suggestion: if you want to try the CVS version please:

1. always do it on a test environment using a backup of your PMF 1.6.x both database and filesytem;
2. until the first RC release always start from a fresh installation or a fresh update (fresh == see 1.).
