Where are glossary terms published?

Post by icyfred »

Hello,

When i add something in the glossary i don't know where they are published.

I know i changed lost of things a long time ago, so perhaps i deactivated it.
If so which files do i have to change to see glossary in the left-hand menu?

Thanks for you help

How does the glossary work

Post by cbgorman »

I am trying to figure out how the glossary works. It appears that, for new entries, when you save them, the program re-writes the HTML code and puts in glossary tags for any glossary terms. However, the program does not go through the FAQs when a new glossary entry is made and put in these tags. Also, it doesn't appear that the when I do an update to an entry, it does not appear to write these tags. Having a glossary where you have to hand-input the tags does not appear useful. I'm hoping there is a way that tags can get added somehow automatically. Can anyone help?

Not even for new entries

I just made a new entry and it didn't get any glossary tags, so now I'm confused as to what the glossary does at all?

Example where some glossary terms were converted and some no

At the URL below, it correctly tagged the glossary entry GSSP but not the glossary entries TA or RA.
http://chemdept.chem.ncsu.edu/faq/index ... artlang=en

At the URL below, it tagged both GSSP and TA glossary entries
http://chemdept.chem.ncsu.edu/faq/index ... artlang=en

The only thing I notice is that, in the first instance, I added a HREF tag using the HTML button in the editor and in the second instance, I did not. I did not, however, change any of the HTML generated by the program when in the HTML editor.
