Tags and Keywords

Hi,

Just starting to use your software, and we had a simple (hopefully) question that we couldn't find an answer for.

What is the difference between a keyword and a tag and how does your software treat them differently ?

What is the difference between a keyword and a tag and how does your software treat them differently ?

Keywords will be shown as meta keywords in the XHTML out put and will be used for the internal full text search engine. Tags will be shown as tag clouds on the right column next to every FAQ entry.

Good question !!!

So Thorsten ... if i have removed my tagcloud (and right column) i coulkd also remove the "Tag" part shown in every artikel? right?
Not using the tags as the search engine is ok and working fine.

The keywords are ONLY for internal (admin area) use?

No, the search engine is using the keywords.

He? As the search function is a full text search, this is not making any sense right?
I am NOT using the keywords atm and the searches are ok in my eyes.

the fulltext search uses the question, the answer and the keywords.

oh ok ... but as my keywords would be already all included in the FAQ-text the keywords are not interesting for me.
