Re: PMF_Mail Class: is not a valid e-mail address!
I have tried different ones - both hotmail and my own domain that resides on the same server.
Maybe i should try to reinstall - but i wait for next version. You don´t have do dig into this any further for me.
Thanks!

Re: PMF_Mail Class: is not a valid e-mail address!
Hi Thorsten
I’m using xammp PHP Version 5.2.9 and php MyAdmin 3.1.3.
The issue described in this post is still open.
When a registered user without an email address makes a proposal for a new FAQ there is no error handling when there is no email address inserted into the form. I get the following php error:
phpMyFAQ user error [256]: PMF_Mail Class: is not a valid e-mail address! in Mail.php on line 280
There should be a warning stating something like 'Please insert a valid email address'
On the other hand if the registered user does have an email address like name.surename@gmail.com inserted into his profile the same error shows up when requesting a new faq:
phpMyFAQ user error [256]: PMF_Mail Class: is not a valid e-mail address! in Mail.php on line 280
I'm working behind a proxy server so I guess that has something to do with the issue. The error handling towards the user should be looked after though.
You could (or should) also disable the mandatory email warnings for registered users and build a control panel with the user's faq being approved list, open questions that have been answered list etc.
I'm going to post something about this in the proposal section of the forum.
Thanks,
