How to config the mail server

Hi, I am new and I am using phpMyFAQ 2.6.17 . But when user registered it does not send any mail.
I read all the documents but i can't found the information about how to config the mail server. Pls help me .

Sorry we are aware of that issue, we have not released a fix for it at the moment

I had the same issue, but I noticed that on a clean install before any changes were made, it worked fine. After some troubleshooting, I found that under "Main Configuration" if "Description of the page", "Name of the publisher" or "Email address of the admin" were left blank, then the Email for new user registration stops working.

I have the same problem where new user that register does not receive an email. Please let me know what the fix for this is.

If you download version 2.7.3 that will fix any issue with the mail also version 2.6 is no longer supported.
