Seeing the Glossary and having it as a Category

Post by bethafinn2000 »

Hello,
I am using phpMyFAQ 2.7.7 and have configured it (works great!) but I can't seem to: first, see a link to it anywhere on the user interface and second, have the Glossary as a Main Category. I am probably missing something terribly obvious but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Ethan

PS: I have added an entry to the Glossary and I also searched on my server for glossary-related files but all I found were the following, neither one of them displaying anything when accessed from the browser:
glossary.edit.php
glossary.main.php
glossary.add.php
Glossary.php

PPS: If this is not possible, are there any "best practices" or suggestions to build a Glossary of terms and have it as a Category?

Hi,

phpMyFAQ 2.8 supports that: http://jen.demo.phpmyfaq.de/index.php?action=glossary

Dear Thorsten,

Unfortunately I am on a hosted environment and I can only use what my hosting provider makes available (and they have only v.2.7.7). I guess I will have to wait :)

Thanks for the quick response!
