security - delete install folder?

For security reasons, should install folder (or install and update PHP files) be deleted when not needed?

yes, you should if the install script or update script cannot delete the folder automatically.

Thanks. I just checked, and the folder is there with 14 files in it, but there are no install and update scripts. Is that how it should be or all install should be gone?
