Inserting code in a FAQ

Post by romainp »

Hi!
What prevent my company to use phpMyFaq is the faq that we can use code in the FAQ, meaning formated text as code (not even code type detection but put some text as "code")
Unless I have missed how to do that, do you think you can implement that in future version?
Thanks!

Hi,

phpMyFAQ 4.1 (currently in the RC phase) includes a Code Snipped Plugin for the WYSIWYG editor. :-)

bye

You can already format code in phpMyFAQ using the built-in editor’s preformatted text or HTML <pre><code> tags, and the developers have mentioned that improved code formatting is on the roadmap for future versions.

Great suggestion Being able to mark parts of an FAQ answer as “code-style text” (even without auto detection) would definitely make technical documentation much clearer, especially for developers. fun games

Is your main use case showing configuration snippets, or more general inline technical terms inside answers?
