A couple more suggested features:

The start page also ought to list the number of records that have not yet been approved.

We should also have an entry where, for a slected total number, the oldest unreviewed entries can be reviewed. For example, I have 400 some records, I want to have the ability to select, say, 5-10 a day/week/month that I can then review and re-approve or edit and then re-approve. This would allow the administrators to review content on a regular basis so as to keep the content fresh and alive.

Rating statistics panel does not allow (or I did not see it) the ability to sort, or change the sort of the topics so the worst ones are on page one, with the best on another page. Also, I did not see that there was a way to look at the details of how the rating was generated. or a tie between it and the comments.

Rating statistics, when you click on the link takes you to the database view of the item, I would think that I would want the link to either take me to the edit panel on that topic, or to have the choice to view as the user sees it, or to see it in the edit panel.

More later as I work with the tool. As always, I DO like it, I just want to like it more! :)

Hi Paul,

thanks again for your ideas and feedback! :-)

I'll try to write a abstract of your suggestions and add them to the todo list for 1.6 and later.

bye

I am sure before we get there I will have more ...

Like I said, I do, for some reason, seem to be harder on the tools I use than most people. Then again, I am autistic so what do I know? :)

One of the reasons that I seem to be doing so much is that I have a fairly large FAQ, so management of the FAQ becomes an issue real fast. At the moment I have 409 visible topics and 3 pages of ones that I have not written material for, so, I have plenty to do just on content.

Oh, I am not sure if this is in fact handled or not, but links embedded in the material I don't think are being tested for validity. So, I am not sure about the best answer for that one either. so, you might add that to the "think about" list ... as it is another problem that should be looked into.

As I get into the swing of things and have the time I may play with that. I am in the process of learning phpMyAdmin so I have a ways to go to be as comfortable with it as I am with Oracle databases (my former specialy)
