Testing 1.5RC1

I just downloaded 1.5RC1 which looks promising.

Anyway, a few problems appear:
- upgrading my 1.4M2 did not really work: the table rubrik was not renamed (it is only renamed if version < 1.3 apparently). I had to execute the queries by hand
- a remaining ">>>> 1.4" in the language_fr.php file ...

Please note that 1.4.0 M2 is a pre-alpha release!

That is very clear to me, I hope some feedback might help.

Anyway I really need a internationalized version now. Would you advice me to go with 14m2 with my changes (see my post in the forum) or to go with the latest 1.3 (what changes would be ...

1.4m2 tests

I have been tested 1.4m2 a little ahead and found a few problems in the admin :
- the list of existing categories is not displayed in the "Category administration" section. But categories are displayed when creating a new FAQ entry
- I tried to add an attachment but I got a "You are not authorized ...

How-to: adapt 1.4m2 to a multilanguage environment

Hi,

I relly needed to show the user only articles in his language. 1.4m2 is a good starting point for this behaviour, even though it requires a few changes.

This post is quite long, but there are really few changes needed:

restrict allowed languages
Remove unneeded languages by deleting ...

ouch ! 1.4 was originally expected 12/2003 and I am deeply relying on it in order to benefit from real multilingual FAQ (I need this beginning of march 2004 :cry: )

A few suggestions

I just installed phpMyFaq and it looks like the tool I've been searching for. Thanks to the development team.

Anyway, here are a few suggestions :

the article PDF conversion should (optionally ?) include a nice header so that the generated PDF look alike the site
the full FAQ PDF conversion ...
