That's correct. The URL to which the preview sends me is:
http://mydomain/ faq[/b]/document

And of course the document is not in the faq sub-directory. However, the link works correctly in the actual published FAQ entry.

Upon further testing, a link to a file I've placed in a sub-directory such as ...

Just an update, the link does not work in my Admin preview, but it does work in the actual FAQ.
