"Open Questions"

Hi,

I don't think emailing open questions to the FAQ owner is the best policy, sometimes even because the user doesn't necessarily have an email account where the files are placed, for instance. I think the best thing to do would be put an Open Questions counter in the main admin page (The number ...

Category Change / Question Change?

If you move a category using the up and down arrows, in category administration, the category changes, yes, but all the questions that were assigned to that category don't :)

On another subject, I don't see where the Category Description is used anywhere, not even as a tooltip in the main page (where I think it would be cool). If I'm wrong, please correct me

I decided to post here to save new threads, since the subject is mostly the same.

the "powered by" words should be translatable, don't you think? They are hardcoded in the source :)

Bah, can't you just make a patch? I don't want to remove everything that I changed, to install a new version just to change this :)

Ok, with english everything works (probably because it was the language the question was written in), and I get "{title} - <the question I'm seeing>" as title.

If I change languages, I get , for instance, in german if you understand it better "{title} - Keine Rubriken gefunden!"

The test print you ...

Back in after commenting

When you're done making a comment to a question, there's no (direct) way to return to the question you were in (usually helpful to keep reading perhaps). Perhaps you should consider putting a "Back" link there?

On another note,

if (isset($_REQUEST["id"]) && checkIntVar($_REQUEST["id"]) == TRUE ...

About this problem, I upgraded my php version, and the first time I created a question is still didn't show, it only started to show, curiously, after I changed language. It seems that, for the moment, everything seems fine.

Thorsten, in 1.4.0, you miscopied a part of my translations (I assume) into language_pt.php, making Portuguese unusable. Edit language_pt.php, and right to the end, delete the line number that appears there, and create a new line :)

bug.mpeg: RIFF (little-endian) data, AVI, 876 x 632, 25.00 fps, video: Microsoft MPEG-4 v2

Or " MS_DIV2 " in xvidcap. It should work in Windows and with mplayer in Linux, if you got all the codecs.

If you don't believe me, I saved a video that shows everything I did, using xvidcap (curiously, a program that uses phpMyFAQ for its FAQ system). The file is 3MB large, so I won't put the address here, if you want it I can send you the a PM.

Hi Thorsten,

I already tried two fresh installs, and the problem is there. Here is what I did:

After going through the installer.php script to set the db, I logged in as admin and created a category under "Category Administration". After that created two articles with "Create Entry", with ...

the comments of a record appear below the changelog at the bottom of the page.

I know, that's not the problem. The problem is, as admin, if I press "Edit Records" I get a list of all the questions in the db, with the number of comments (in parenthesis). However, the "(X Comments)" simply ...
