the image http://www.mywebsite/faq/images/logo.png needs a HTTP authentication. Please remove this protection.

I'm just checking the PNG spec (http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-png) and it seems, after a very quick reading, that the file size would be a multiple of 4 (instead, your PNG file length is: 36519) and this could explain the breaking of the code. I'm not sure about this constraint on a PNG file: I'll better check for this supposition.

In the meanwhile you can try to give more RAM to PHP (see php.ini) if the error is strictly related to a miss of memory.
