PDF problem after 1.5.7 -> 1.6.3 upgrade

Hello,
I just upgraded from 1.5.7 to 1.6.3. I did not upgrade any templates as the README indicated that was not necessary and I have made many changes to templates.

PDF generation was working fine before the upgrade but now when I click on the "show this as a pdf" link (example link URL: pdf.php?cat=261388&id=39&lang=en) on an article page, I get this error:

Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /var/www/html/exchange-preview.lastmileconnections.com/resources/sellers/inc/mysql.php on line 176
Error!

Any ideas on what may be causing this?

Yes, I did.

I actually have three separate but similar installations that I was upgrading and I realized after posting here that on one of those three the PDF script is working correctly. So I at least have a starting point to figure out why the two other are broken. Thanks.
