Problem with the installation

Hi,

When i try to install phpMyFaq 2.0.0 RC2, i always have the following error :

Fatal error: Invalid Database Type in D:\xampp\htdocs\faq20\inc\Db.php on line 43

my configuration is :
Windows 2000 + xampp 1.6.1 (PHP 5.2.1 - MySQL 5.0.37)

Database information SQL server : MySQL 4.x/5.x/6.x
SQL server host : localhost
SQL username: eninet
SQL password: password
SQL database: faq
Table prefix: faq_

phpMyFAQ information

Default language: French
Permission level: Basic
Administrator's real name: x
Administrator's e-mail address: x
Administrator's username: admin
Administrator's password: azerty
Retype password: azerty

which database type did you selected?

Hi,

I have tried MySQL 4.x / 5.x / 6.x (PHP 4 / PHP 5) and MySQL 4.1 / 5.x / 6.x (PHP 5), but the result is the same

N.B. : i have no problem with phpMyFAQ 1.6.12

how do the filenames look like in the folder inc/PMF_DB/ ?

Hi,

there is no PMF_DB folder under the inc folder ...
shall i create it manually ? or is it created during installation ?

Hi,

I've just found the problem ... it's due to a incomplete unzip of the package some files and folders have not been copied

everything is ok now
