Search no list showing

Post by jenolan »

Just upgraded to 2.0.2 when you do a search the result comes back and says 1 - 3 pages but the page itself does not diaply.

Try doing a search and see .. http://www.razorbackrailway.com/apps/faq/

Hi 'Basic' is the setting that the upgrader made it .. I searched some more and found medium mentioned and that now allows search. I looking in the manual but couldn't find it or am I going blind ;)

Habe dasselbe Problem. Ich kann suchen und dann steht da

2 Suchergebnisse

permission is medium

Post by lezard »

I have medium permission

I think the whole problem (no list, no top 10, no 5 most recent) comes from the content of my faq.

I copied my files and DB into 78600.free.fr/faq202
it still doesn't work properly
I removed the content of my faq then it works properly.

I should now find which character I entered creates the trouble !

I'm having the same problem but I can't resolve it with the above suggestions.

I am currently using XAMPP 1.6.2 (apache 2.2.4 mysql 5.0.41 php 5.2.2) and phpmyfaq 2.0.3. With the permission level on basic it says there is 1 result to my search but no FAQs listed. if I change to medium I get the same result and also lose the top 10 and 5 recent.

I've tried 2.0.2 and 2.0.3 on WAMP 5 too with the same result. I removed my FAQs in case of odd characters and added 6 (is that enough) FAQs with plain text, but still cannot search.

Any ideas please?

Thanks

Hi,

I had the same issue, except the following happened

1) Did the following @ administration -> configuration -> permission level to "medium"
2) Clicked save
3) Tested page, search results still had the same symptoms as previously.
4) Tried to login to admin/index.php --> screen displays "" after clicking "Ok."

Now I am only able to view the site, however when i attempt to login at the admin/index.php page it only loads the screen with ""

is it there a way to reverse permission changes without logging to admin panel e.g. changing some entry in the db. Or admin login issue is not related to permission change? :?
