Convert from Faq-o-matic?

Post by MidrangeMan »

Has anyone come up with an automated way to convert data from Faq-O-Matic to phpMyFAQ?

I've got a fair amount of information in faq-o-matic ... and I'd rather not have to re-key it all.

Thanks!

Hi David,

I've written no converter yet. I'll install FAQ-O-Matic and will try to write such a tool.

Hi David,

could you please send me your exported FAQ data from your FAQ-O-Matic? Here's a Howto to generate an export: http://faqomatic.sourceforge.net/fom-se ... e/214.html

Thanks + bye

Hi,

has this ever been completed? I have a large Faq-o-matic instance and it would be really nice if that could be converted over to phpmyfaq.

Thanks,

J

Hi,

I never wrote a converter due to my limited time.

Well, I can only ask then - will you ever? :)
I've not looked into the inner workings of phpmyfaq yet - would it be hard?
(to do it myself)

Thanks

Hi,

I think I won't do that because I do not have the time for that. But you can try this. It would be great.
