User Self Registration...

Hi, this is a great application you have going here! I looked through the older posts and I have seen that self registration was going to be implemented in version 2.1 then in 2.5. The roadmap said it was completed in 2.5. I downloaded and installed the 2.5 beta available, but this feature did not work properly. When is this slated to be complete? If I download the latest snapshot, will it be included and functioning? I would like to see this in action. I really do not want to re-invent the wheel (write my own) if this is already included.
