Now, my host is using php5 finally and I really absolutely need to upgrade to the latest phpmyFAQ because editing records results in deletion of the content. Yikes. I'm willing to donate. Please help

Upgrading from 1.5.7
A year ago I tried getting my 1.5.7 records upgraded to the latest system. After emailing my data in, I never got them converted.

Thank you. I've just sent the two backup files which need converting.

Hi,
I received the files. It will take some days because I'm away for some days at work.

Hi Thorsten,
Have you made any progress with them yet?

It's been two weeks, now. Do we have an ETA on when these will be completed?
Re: Upgrading from 1.5.7
Hi,
I was traveling for work the last 2 weeks. The next days I should find some hours to do that.

Re: Upgrading from 1.5.7
ok - I got the import up.
All records are showing.
But there are a few errors I'm having.
Captcha is not working... in fact, a comment is able to be left without any trouble.***
Tags aren't showing, therefore, related articles aren't showing.
There may be more, I'm not sure... most of these new features are new to me so I may not realize what I'm missing yet.

***Nevermind, the captcha was disabled by default in the settings. Still searching for a fix on the tags/related articles feature.

Hi,
hey, cool!
The tags are visible if you have tagged content. Did you add tags? The related articles are shown if you have keywords for your records.

yes. There may not be tags on EVERY single one, but I looked at a specific record which I know holds tags and they do not show up. Could visibility be disabled somewhere?Thorsten wrote:Hi,

Re: Upgrading from 1.5.7
I just figured it out. I thought keywords were tags. I see now they are 2 different things. I dont suppose there's an easy way to turn all keywords into tags?Thorsten wrote:Hi,

Also, when a new faq is created, shouldnt the keywords and tags be the same anyway? Whats the reason for both fields?
