adding a new faq is very slow

Whenever I try to "Add Content" or "Ask question", and then click "submit" it takes 2-3 minutes for the confirmation screen. Any ideas why this might be happening? Please let me know. Thanks.

I am using mysql 5.1.32 and httpd 2.2.11.

It is Fedora 11 i.e. the latest OS. I havent done any "customization" with the package, if thats what you mean by "profiling" . Thanks.

I think there might be some kind of "resolving" going on in the background but not sure.

something is misconfigured in your system.

Profiling means to check a application or system for bottlenecks.
