Attachments with spaces and single quotes not found

At our place end-user frequently use single quotes and spaces in the file names...

1. Edited existing FAQ and attached a file:

root@lts8043:/var/www/phpmyfaq-2.5.0/attachments# ls -lrt 4/
total 4
-rw-r--r-- 1 www-data www-data 1072 2009-07-23 09:53 cleanup test' my dude '.sh

and hit the error when clicked on the link provided (while viewing that FAQ)

Any updates on this issue?

Over here in Malaysia, end-user do like having spaces as well as single quotes in the file names... They do use that a lot
