MS SQL 2005 and some things are different

Post by Markus-SSI »

After succeeding in installing phpMyFAQ 2.5.3 on MS SQL 2005 by deleting the stoppword entries in \install\stopwords.sql.php I noticed some differences in the behaviour between phpMyFAQ with MS SQL and MySQL Server:
  • Links in the news are shown correctly, but if there are no links added you get displayed "More information: " with MS SQL although. - DONE :!:
  • Searching by the solution id doesn't work with MS SQL. -> "No FAQs available."
I will add any other differences which will appear.

should be fixed with today's snapshot.

Now I tried to save a bigger faq entry, but after about two pages the content is cut.
With MySQL I tried the same entry and it worked normally.
