I am trying the "Instant response" search in home, and it's fantastic.
But I often file the same FAQ in more than one category. And in this case, when I type for example the title of the FAQ, I will have a duplicated search result of the same article, since it's in two different cats.
The results should be unique per FAQ id, imho!
cheers.

Hi,
I know... but I don't know which of the two results should be displayed?

Re: "Duplicated" search results
if you weigh search results, the highest value. the one with most matches!
otherwise, instead of showing two articles, show single article and list the categories it is in as a list, like tags.

Re: "Duplicated" search results
Hi,
the weight could be an option. We're currently working on the search class for the 2.7 release so there will be an improvment.

Re: "Duplicated" search results
yes, but considering that it's the exact same article, differing only in the category, weigh will likely be the same 99% of the times, unless the search term include one of the categories.
showing the cats it is in, comma separated, would be better imo
