Someone posting faqs

I'm new to phpmyfaq, got everything installed and did some basic tweaking with no problem. Now I have some unauthorized questions being posted. They are only available in the admin section (not marked active). I saw that there was a security issue so I upgraded to the latest release but I am still getting random porn posts.

Any idea what I have missed in setup that is allowing them to get inside?

did you enable the spam protection stuff?

I just checked the Spam settings. The only one that was not checked was the captcha - which I now have checked.

Was this the issue?
