under the text input box you can attach any kind of file.

this is interesting, I've just noticed that:
Attachments can be added only while editing

not clear why not when adding a new completed FAQ.

I've mentioned this also in another post (sorry, it's in German)

I'm not sure if this problem will be solved in 2.7beta?

Sorry but this is not scheduled to be fixed in 2.7 beta currently the only way to attach file is while your editing the FAQ
