[solved] Import problem

Post by nikopol »

Hi
I want to transfer my FAQ from one machine to another.
both install are made with xampp

Config 1 (where is the faq)
Apache/2.2.17 (Unix) DAV/2 mod_ssl/2.2.17 OpenSSL/1.0.0c PHP/5.3.5 mod_apreq2-20090110/2.7.1 mod_perl/2.0.4 Perl/v5.10.1
Version du client MySQL: mysqlnd 5.0.7-dev - 091210 - $Revision: 304625 $
Extension PHP: mysql
PhpMyFaq 2.7.0-beta3

Config 2
Apache/2.2.21 (Unix) DAV/2 mod_ssl/2.2.21 OpenSSL/1.0.0c PHP/5.3.8 mod_apreq2-20090110/2.7.1 mod_perl/2.0.5 Perl/v5.10.1
Version du client MySQL: mysqlnd 5.0.8-dev - 20102224 - $Revision: 310735 $
Extension PHP: mysql
PhpMyFaq 2.7.0

I'm very scared to update the first config because the importance of this faq.

I try an import / export from phpMyFAQ and I have 2 errors that I did not analyze

Code: Select all

Sur le terrain local, elles produisent néanmoins des effets semblables qui aboutissent à <strong>une transformation radicale de la place de l'État, pas à sa disparition</strong>.</p>','','nicolas.dupain@gmail.com','n',20110913202330,'linkok',1315938212,00000000000000,99991231235959)" failed (Reason: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'i référendum ni initiative populaire n'existent qui permettent' at line 1)

Code: Select all

L'élection fonde le niveau de la démocratie.<br /><strong>" failed (Reason: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ''
After the import, I will not access the interface, the page is blank.

I try to dump the base by phpmyadmin ; I first erase the tables ; After the import, I could access the interface but the topics was empty, I have access to some articles in the latest publications, and I fell on an empty interface.

What procedure adopted to solve my problem?

Hi,

we changed some configurations from beta3 to the RC release, so you cannot restore your 2.7.0-beta3 FAQ data in a 2.7.0-final release. You should update the beta3 installation to the final release and then do the import once again.

Hi,

if you do a backup of your data, there's no risk.

Hi,

I update and it's work. Thanks.

I have had indications of same sql errors but after a few navigation in the site (whith Chromium because of blank pages in Firefox) and a total crash of my machine, it seems to work.

I have two strange displaying : the footer goes under the main menu at /admin/?action=category and /admin/index.php?action=content ??

Regards

Hi,
Thanks for reply.

I am quite disturbed by a strange display in Firefox that occurs on a recurring basis with the 2.7 (update or install) i have no display and if I ask the source of the page, I have nothing ??

I have a correct display in Chromium (for the time being)

Yet I emptied the cache and deleted the session cookies.

My configurations are Ubuntu Ubuntu 11.04 et 11.10 (64bits), Firefox 7.0.1

Are you aware of a similiar problem ?

Hi, thanks for reply
No she isn't but i can send you the dump.
I encountered this problem several times during my transfer tests (after each import in fact).
Since I made the update 2.7, the problem manifested itself when importing and then disappears after a few use with another browser.
Now it works.

Hi,

This is not a caching issue (i empty it, disable it with webdev toolbar)
I have sometimes the same problem in chromium but it disappears when I refresh the page.
I think it comes from my database?
A case analysis, advice please
