In PMF 2.7.3 with LDAP Auth enabled, users with a dot in their username (j.stevens) can login but are not added to the PMF user list.
Users without dot in their username (jstevens) can login and are added to the PMF user list.
Debug is enabled and there is no error or warning output when a user with a dot in his username logs in.
In PMF 2.7.3 without LDAP auth I can't add users with a username that contains a dot, instead I get the error message "The specified user name is invalid.".
If I add a user without a dot in his username and add a dot by means ob manipulating the corresponding database entry the behaviour gets really strange.
The manipulated user does show in the PMF Usermanagement view with the same id/name/email address as the user thats id-1.
