phpmyfaq 2.7.1 upload problem

We recently downloaded and installed phpmyfaq 2.7.1 and have been moving our faq to it. We need to add pictures in some instances but we seem unable to upload pictures. We keep getting a pop-up that says "Failed to move file". Any help to resolve this is highly appreciated.
