Ldap connects, but all user/passwords rejected

Hello,

I've just installed 2.7.7 on Ubuntu 10.04 and I've been quite impressed by what I see. All has gone well other than my attempt to connect to our Active Directory server (Windows 2008 r2 server). I don't get errors displayed, but known good login/password combinations come back as 'wrong username or password'. I have a similar setup on a different Ubuntu 10.04 server which works, so I believe I'm setting up the ldap settings correctly. Have you had this reported as a bug, or is there a log file I can check which might give me some idea of why the valid logins are not being recognized by phpMyFAQ?

Unfortunately we are not seeing any errors at the AD server.

To be honest, this will be used internally only, so as long as users can access information, post questions and rate FAQ documents without logging in, that will be sufficient for our needs.

Witin phpMyFAQ, I'm getting this message when I attempt to log into AD:

Invalid user or password.\nLogin: rtclements@varnumlaw.com\nErrors: Specified login could not be found.

Has anyone else with 2.7.7 had this issue? Mine is a fresh install.

Hi,

a lot of users are using LDAP or AD it works most of time.
