problem with mail configruation

first,thanks for the amazing program!
my problem is cannot receive mail sent from the system after the new user regeistered.
the system enviroment is Windows Server 2008 R2+IIS7.5+PHP+phpmyfaq2.7.8.
i have configed the administrator name and email in the administrator panel.
and i also setted the php.ini.
after that i can sent mail by the mail() of PHP via test code.
by the way,there is no error or warn in new user regeister.
can anyone help me?sorry for my poor english 8)

yes, we also use mail(), but we're using it a little bit different and it's hard to fix your issue without knowing what happens in your mail server
