Notify user of answered questions

Hello.
I've implemented an intranet site with phpmyfaq version 2.7.7 running under Windows 2008.
Today I showed the demo site to my internal users and they asked for the feature as in topic subject.
I searched this forum and I've found that this feature has been announced in "the next version" more than 9 years ago: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=286&p=1232&hilit=em ... tion#p1232 but I can't find a way to have it working.

Maybe I made a mistake or it still lacks this feature?

yes, shame on me, still not added in 2.7, but it's on the 2.8 plan.

I don't see it mentioned in the 2.8 alpha you released at the end of august.
Do you plan to release this feature in final 2.8 version?

I think that this FAQ system really needs such a feature.

Does anyone know when this alpha 3 will be coming out. I really can't believe that there is no way for my users to follow up on a question they have asked other than coming back to the FAQs and searching for the question they asked in the FAQ section. Not even with they are registered users, there is not way for them to check on questions they have asked that are associated with their account.

the 3rd alpha is out as soon as possible. If you can't wait, you can use the version direclty from GitHub.

Thank you. In the upgrade directions (from 2.7.x), it says Upgrading from 2.7.x is a major upgrade and that I'll have to update a lot of my template files due to your change to the Twitter Bootstrap framework. Since the only old templates I am directed to 'not delete' are in the directory 'assets/template/', I assume I won't have to update any of the templates in the main /template/ directory? Just the assets/template directory?

I haven't made any changes to the templates, I have used the script right out of the box. Will I still need to do so?
